Good to know if you live in Wellingborough

• Planning: Wellingborough is covered by North Northamptonshire Council. Most roof-mounted solar on houses is permitted development and needs no planning application, though homes in the town centre conservation area or listed buildings need extra checks. We check this during your survey.
• Grid connection: Wellingborough is on the National Grid Electricity Distribution network. We handle the G98 or G99 notification for your system so you don't have to.
• Older and newer homes: From Victorian terraces near the town centre to new-build estates such as Stanton Cross, roof sizes and orientations vary a lot. We design each system around your roof rather than a standard package.

How it works

1. Free site survey. We visit your Wellingborough home, check the roof, shading and electrics, and talk through what you want from the system.
2. Clear quote. An itemised, no-obligation quote with expected generation and savings.
3. Installation. Fitted with our MCS-certified installation partners, typically over 1 to 3 days, depending on system size.
4. Handover. Tested, certified and registered, with the paperwork you need for the Smart Export Guarantee.
