Good to know if you live in Corby

• Planning: Corby is covered by North Northamptonshire Council. Most roof-mounted solar on houses is permitted development and needs no planning application, although listed buildings and conservation areas, such as the old village of Rockingham nearby, need extra checks. We check this during your survey.
• Grid connection: Corby is on the National Grid Electricity Distribution network. We handle the G98 or G99 notification for your system so you don't have to.
• Newer homes: Corby has a lot of recent housing, including Priors Hall and Weldon Park. Newer roofs are often in good condition and well suited to solar, and many already have space for a battery in a garage or utility room.
