Grants for Daventry homes

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme takes £7,500 off an air source or ground source heat pump. If your home is heated by oil, LPG or electric heaters, as some homes in villages around Daventry are, the grant is £9,000 until 31 March 2027. Your installer claims it for you, so you pay the price with the grant already taken off.

Planning: Daventry is covered by West Northamptonshire Council. Most air source heat pumps on houses are permitted development and need no planning application, as long as they meet the noise and siting rules. Listed buildings and some conservation areas need extra checks. Your survey covers this.
Insulation and EPC: you need a valid EPC for the grant. If your loft or walls need insulating first, we'll tell you, because a well-insulated home needs a smaller, cheaper heat pump.
Running costs: a heat pump runs on electricity, so adding solar panels and a battery cuts what you pay to run it. We can quote for all three together.
